Little Anise Buns

The little anise buns are a tipycal dessert of the Roman Christmas Tradition.

Difficulty: Easy

Timing: 2 hours

Ingredients:

  •  250 ml of vermouth liquer
  •  250 ml of oil of various seeds
  •  500 gr of sugar
  •  20 gr of anise seeds
  • Flour how much it is enough

Preparation:

Put  the seeds of anise into the vermouth liquer and leave to rest for 12 hours.

Mix the  vermouth and the seeds of anise with the sugar and oil. Unite the flour until to get a smooth and homogeneous mixture.

Create from this mixture many little buns and put it into a greasy baking-pan.

Cook in a warm oven 220° for 15 minuts, until the little buns will have reached a gilded color.
